You’ve seen the infomercials. Some famous person is pitching a magical pill or potion, screaming at the top of their lungs, or demonstrating some crazy device that is impossible to figure out. You hear them talk about how this product is the answer to all of your fitness problems.
Maybe you even purchased one of these weight loss products thinking, “I HAVE THE MIRACLE SOLUTION!” After spending your hard earned money, you find out that it doesn’t work like they said it would. Now do not let me mislead you. I believe in supplementation, but only as an addition to fitness and healthy nutrition.
Many reports and statistics indicate the fitness industry is a multi-billion dollar industry. Wouldn’t you want to know the truth, if you are going to invest in yourself? This website is designed to help you learn the truth about fitness and to develop a plan to move forward with a more healthy and fit life. Ultimately, it is my desire that you reach every fitness/health goal you set for yourself. This can be done without wasting your time, efforts, or money on false hopes and promises.
LIE #1
In my opinion and from experience, the biggest and most detrimental lie, is the notion that there is some magical solution to all your fitness goals. There is no magic bullet, quick fix, or secret supplement that sheds fat and gets you to look like a fitness model or athlete. On the other hand, there are action steps you can take to help achieve your fitness goals.
LIE #2 Another, more subtle lie, is that you need to workout longer and longer as your fitness level progresses. If that were the case, wouldn’t the goal be work out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? You are busy and working out is something that you want to be quick, efficient, and with great results!! You have other things to use your valuable time on. You have family, friends, social obligations, work, and so many other demands of life, which makes working out a hassle. Wouldn’t you want to minimize your time working out but maximizing your results?
